The Kingdom of God

According Mat 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought the field. What is the kingdom? Why is it such a treasure? What would cause a man to sell everything to buy it? What is so special about this kingdom?

Romans 14:17 says that the kingdom of God is not just about eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. In addition, we know that this kingdom is full of love because all throughout the Bible, God is love (1John 4:8, John 3:16). Can you imagine a life of righteousness, peace, joy, and love in the Holy Spirit? A life where we choose to do what's right in God's eyes. A life where we can live in peace, joy, and love regardless of circumstances around us.

Furthermore, 1Cor 4:20 states that the kingdom of God is not just talk but of power. Acts 1:8 But you will receive power from the Holy Spirit so that you can be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the utmost part of the earth. Imagine a life of righteousness, peace, joy, love, power, and purpose! What would such a life look like? It's no wonder that Jesus said that He wants to give us a life that is abundant (John 10:10). What if you and I can live such a life? Do you want it?

 

RAK stands for Releasing and Advancing the Kingdom. It's our desire to help equip and bless Christians to live the kingdom life, and then to advance it. As such, we offer our training and materials pro bono.
